At Millan & Associates, we do our best to ensure you get the care you need. Here’s what you need to know about payment at our office: 

• Payment terms and conditions are established during your first session.

• Cash and e-transfer are accepted, and payment is due at the time of service.

• OHIP does not cover the cost of therapeutic services.

• We charge a standard fee for sessions. However, Millan offers a sliding fee scale for clients on Ontario Works. Please discuss this with us at the time of booking.

• Any missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged $50.

The rates vary from program to program. Please call our office to inquire.

Insurance

You may need to contact your insurance company and/or employer to determine service coverage. Individuals with a family member (spouse or parent) who is working may be eligible for coverage through the family member’s benefit plan.

Often, deductibles and co-pays must be considered. Your insurance carrier may also require pre-authorization before obtaining services from our team.

Please look into the details of your coverage before your appointments, as you are responsible for all charges whether or not your insurance provider covers the services.

Legal Case Work

All work related to a case is billable. This includes, but is not limited to: evaluations, administration, scoring and interpretation of tests, consultations with attorneys and/or other individuals who have information relevant to a case, the review of records, discovery or other evaluations, preparation and record review prior to a deposition or court testimony, and travel time to offsite locations, such as court, attorney offices, correctional facilities, schools, or home visits.
